Description
Rolex GMT Master II “Zombie” – Green & Black Power Statement
The Rolex GMT Master “Zombie” is a bold collector nickname commonly used for the green and black bezel version of the Rolex GMT-Master II. Officially known as reference 126720VTNR (and related configurations), this striking model stands out for its unique color combination and modern technical upgrades.
Crafted by Rolex, the GMT-Master II was originally designed for international pilots, allowing wearers to track multiple time zones at once. The “Zombie” variation takes that heritage and adds a contemporary edge with its green and black Cerachrom bezel insert.
Why the “Zombie” GMT-Master II Is So Popular
The green and black bezel gives this watch an aggressive, modern aesthetic that differentiates it from classic “Pepsi” or “Batman” versions. Key features include:
-
40mm Oystersteel case
-
Bidirectional 24-hour Cerachrom bezel
-
Independent 24-hour GMT hand
-
Automatic Calibre 3285 movement
-
100 meters water resistance
-
Jubilee or Oyster bracelet options
One of the most talked-about elements of this model is its left-hand crown configuration (on certain references), which makes it instantly recognizable and highly collectible.
Rolex GMT Master “Zombie” Price & Market Value
Due to limited availability and strong demand, the green and black GMT-Master II often trades above retail on the secondary market. Pricing varies depending on condition, bracelet type, and market demand.
Collectors are drawn to this version because of:
-
Unique color scheme
-
Short supply at authorized dealers
-
Strong resale liquidity
-
Modern movement upgrades
